Full disclaimer

Under the Operating Agreement, British Columbia is the only Party with an explicit future implementation date. Rather than opening all product types immediately like the other eight signatories, BC commits to expanding its existing wine-only program — running since the 2024 agreement with Alberta — to cover beer and spirits as well, targeting February 2027.

Until that date arrives, BC's beer and spirits DTC status stays unavailable even though wine has been live since January 2025. This is a planned commitment, not a confirmed change, which is why this event is flagged unverified until it actually happens.
